The Penthouse apartment is located in the perfect position to gain access to Woolacombe's famous surfing beach and the amenities of the village, whilst being positioned high up making the most of the wonderful views.
Living/Dining/Cooking
The apartment has a fabulous open plan feel, with well equipped kitchen, breakfast bar and French doors leading to onto the wrap around terrace. A few steps lead up to a large dining/living area (seating 10) with huge glazed area and bi-fold doors.
Sleeping/Bathing
The master bedroom is positioned on a slightly raised area off the living room, separated by heavy curtaining, making it possible to wake up in the morning to this wonderful outlook over the beaches and listen to the sound of the sea! There is an extremely attractive fully tiled en-suite shower room with dual sinks and spacious shower.
Off the entrance hallway, an inner hallway leads to a family bathroom with contemporary bath, a further WC with wash basin, double bedroom with bunk beds. The third double room with single bed opens out to create a further single bed if required.
Outside
There is a large terrace with table and chairs for entertaining - a brilliant venue for a family get together or celebratory weekend!
The Penthouse definitely has one of the best views in Woolacombe!
Good To know
This property is situated on the fourth floor of the building, with access to the apartment via stairs or lift. In the event of a fire or mechanical failure, it would not be possible to use the lift.
Bed Linen, Hand/Bath towels and Wi-Fi are provided within the price.

£60 non-refundable booking fee payable at time of booking.
50% of the accommodation cost and booking fee are required to secure the booking. The remaining balance & payment for any extras is due 8 weeks prior to arrival along with the refundable damages deposit (if applicable). If your dates are within 10 weeks, full payment is required.
Check-in time is from 4pm and the check-out time is 10am.

This is a fantastic place to stay - I shouldn't really say that cos I don't want too many people booking it up in the future but the fact is it is and they will. I hope you enjoy it as much as us.
A beautiful apartment with views over the stunning Woolacombe bay beach. The penthouse provides a really relaxed setting to enjoy your break. The kitchen is spacious with enough utensils, pans, bowls to see you through the week, just don't forget your oven gloves! The bedrooms are well sized and were perfect for our 4 children. The lounge/dining area was what made the penthouse a truly relaxing experience for us as the kids could settle down after a long day in front of the tv, whilst an additional sitting area looking over the bay provided an adult space without being disconnected from the kids. Only note of caution is if you're staying and it's windy, to move all of the decking furniture to the kitchen to avoid any accidents. Finally having spoken with the Ocean Cottages team throughout our stay m, their customer service was exemplary and there was always somebody on the end of the phone. All in all I would definitely recommend a stay at this property.
Our fourth time in the Penthouse. Ten days in May 2024. The property never ceases to delight us. Woolacombe is as unspoiled and beautiful a seaside location as we have ever found. Highly recommended. Five stars.

The Penthouse apartment has the best view in Woolacombe. Our family has been returning for the past 8 years. Accommodation and location, hard to beat.
We stayed here last year, and nothing has changed; the exceptional overall quality remains. There were a couple of small issues, but Ocean Cottages' response and rectification, along with their communication throughout our stay, were at an impressively high level.
Had the absolute best stay at the Penthouse Woolacombe with Ocean Cottages. Excellent property with fantastic views. Really comfortable and clean. First time staying with Ocean Cottages and they were brilliant with lots of communication and information before, during and after our stay. Will definitely use them again and hope to stay at the Penthouse in the future!
Great location for a family holiday, stunning views, close to everything. Great restaurants nearby, great beach and crazy golf. Only slight issue is there are only 2 parking spaces which isn't ideal when the property sleeps 10. No parking close by.
We have recently returned from a weeks stay with 5 adults and 2 children at The Penthouse Narracott, which met all our needs. The accommodation was superb, with comfortable beds, a spacious living area, reserved parking for 2 cars and fabulous views. Shops and restaurants were all nearby, and the beach a short walk away. A great location for a holiday in Woolacombe.
The spaciousness and amenities of and within the Penthouse are very impressive and the 180 degree panoramic view means there is always something to attract attention. We have, for at least the last 10 years, holidayed elsewhere within Narracott; the Penthouse is by far the best, and Ocean Cottages' communication was very, very good throughout. All in all; our stay was very worthy of a 5 star rating. My only perception: if a funicular could please be built from the bottom of Sandy Lane directly to the Penthouse balcony !!

Such a greet place for a family holiday
Penthouse with stunning views over Woolacombe Bay. Have rent in Woolacombe before this was a different league with very spacious area and a large wooden dining room table. By useful for food as covid 19 was keeping all the outside restaurants too busy. We had 6 adults and a 6 month old granddaughter, so spacious room The fridge was too small for weekly shop !!! Would visit again as best views in Woolacombe
Great location, overlooking Woolcombe bay. Perfect family holiday with a mix of beach, entertainment and a good choice of places to eat.
We love staying here. The view is just the best in woolacombe. Could do with a tidy up? ie. balcony could do with a bit of paint and deck stain but it doesn't spoil it. We will be back next year. Thanks Kerry
The Penthouse apartment was lovely with plenty of space to live without being in each other's way. It was clean and comfortable and and located in a lovely block which was very quiet. It had a great big balcony to sit on that ran all the way around so you had the sun from morning until night. But, the icing on the cake was the fantastic views. Because of the amazing balcony It overlooked the hills and the beach and was positioned in the best spot possible. To just sit and look at those views was amazing. It was a 5 min walk to the beach and the shops and eating places were just over the road. A lovely apartment which I would definitely return to.
A two-week family stay loved by everyone! The Penthouse is spacious, comfortable and well-appointed. It would be impossible to leave a review without mentioning the stunning views, something you could never tire of, come rain or shine. Brilliant location, close to a beautiful beach and a good selection of restaurants and bars. We're already talking about our next trip!
Was looking for an apartment for a family holiday and couldn't of asked for a better one than this!! The apartment is amazing inside but gets even better once the doors are open and you are out on the enormous balcony with its wonderful views! Perfect location right by the beach, bars and shops. It does get warm when the sun is out but once the doors are open wide and the breeze comes through it's fine and you spend all of your time on the balcony! The main bedroom is next to the living room which may seem strange to some but the morning light and views are worth it! As a family we loved this apartment and will definitely be booking again I would recommend it to everyone!!
Gorgeous apartment, stunning sea views, perfect location, child friendly, short walk to the sandy beach and a short walk to Barricane beach. Easy parking and Ocean cottages as a company excellent! We love Woolacombe so we've now found the perfect place to stay when we return for future breaks.
