7 Ocean Point is a stunning 3 bedroom penthouse apartment located in the heart of Woolacombe. Views are enjoyed across Woolacombe Beach towards Putsborough and Baggy Point providing extraordinary sunsets from the balcony - imagine watching these with a glass of wine whilst relaxing on the balcony!
Living/Dining/Cooking
The main living accommodation is modern and open plan with kitchen appliances including built in dishwasher, washing machine, oven, hob & an array of kitchen essentials. There is a breakfast bar area with stools and dining table with seating for 8. The living area provides comfortable seating for 8 (including a sofa bed, additional charges apply), Smart TV and access to the balcony where there is a small bistro table and chairs.
Sleeping
The bedrooms are located on the lower level of the apartment and comprise a master bedroom with kingsize bed and en-suite bathroom (bath with shower attachment, not suitable as a stand up shower due to restricted head height), twin beds to bedroom 2 and a double bed in bedroom 3. To this floor there is also a separate shower room. All bedrooms have access to the balcony which enjoys fabulous views over Woolacombe beach and out to sea. There is a double sofa bed in the living room for the 7th and 8th guests.
Bathing
There is a family shower room plus en-suite bathroom to the master (bath with shower attachment, not suitable as a stand up shower due to restricted head height). There is a communal outdoor shower for washing off after the beach.
Outside
There is underground dedicated parking area with space for 2 vehicles. The apartment is accessed from the car park area via a stairway or lift. (Please note there is a headroom limit on the underground parking of max. two metres. For guidance a long wheel base VW Transporter (minus roof racks) can access this area. This should be noted as these may need to be removed from large vehicles before access. The lift gives access to the entrance and bedroom level of the apartment, there are stairs up from this level to access the living accommodation.

Although there is lift access to the apartment, the living area is accessed via internal stairs and therefore is not suitable for wheelchair users.
Please note - the blinds in the bedrooms are not black out blinds and therefore some light does filter through. Unfortunately, it is not possible install curtains due to planning restrictions.

Additional Booking Information
£60 non-refundable booking fee payable at time of booking.
50% of the accommodation cost and booking fee are required to secure the booking. The remaining balance & payment for any extras is due 8 weeks prior to arrival along with the refundable damages deposit (if applicable). If your dates are within 10 weeks, full payment is required.
Check-in time is from 4pm and the check-out time is 10am.

Reviews
Having travelled over 8hrs, we received a text message advising the hob was broken. Disappointingly we didn't receive a replacement (temporary) until 24hrs later meaning that our self catering options wasn't viable for the first night, breakfast or lunch. The apartment has amazing views, but needs some TLC. The blinds don't offer any closure or sunblock and most are defaced. No outdoor seating off bedrooms. Handle to bed 3 (single beds) kept catching and children got locked in. Need to invest in a set of knives. Instructions for how to use dishwasher and wash/dryer would be useful as the dryer didn't work on its own. The store room for surf boards needs a good sort out, very old and mouldy items which didn't move all week, took up space and smelt horrendous. Private lift access to Apt 7 not available. We were told this! Very disappointing.
Apartment was light and airy with fabulous views. Very helpful having 2 parking spots. Close to town centre without any of the noise. Beds very comfortable-one of the best I've slept in apart from home! Could have done with a table on the balcony and a broom, but otherwise we all had a wonderful time and would recommend to my friends.
Easy to find property, bonus of two parking spaces and great to be accessible via a lift or steps. The apartment was bright, modern and had everything you needed in the kitchen. We were left milk, tea and chocolates which went down well. Such comfortable sofas looked like new. The beds were very comfortable and the linen really nice not so impressed with the towels though. Clean modern bathrooms. Balconies on both levels with great views. We had a really nice stay, perfect position for beach, eateries and a few amusements for our 4yr old grandson and some great attractions not too far away by car. Good communication throughout from Ocean-Cottages.
This is a beautiful apartment with spectacular views across the bay. It is spotlessly clean, modern and spacious and is literally a few minutes walk from Woolacombe beach which is ideal for adults and children alike. There are lots of lovely places to eat but if you choose to cook the kitchen is well equipped too. There's parking for 2 cars, storage for wetsuits and body/surf boards and a lift taking you to the apartment. Would highly recommend!
The apartment is beautiful, the views are stunning and we have come home feeling so relaxed. We will definitely be coming back again. Booking through Ocean Cottages was so hassle free and easy, cannot thank them enough.
We had a wonderful time the apartment has everything you need and is very modern and clean. The beds are very comfy and the sea view is absolutely stunning . The location is superb for the beach, restaurants, shops and pubs all in walking distance. We can't wait to visit again.
We stayed here in June 2021, 6 adults and plenty of room for all of us. Apartment was clean and comfortable. The beds were comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed.
