Living/Dining/Cooking
The large open plan living/dining/kitchen is located on the first floor and offers comfort and style with amazing views across Woolacombe, the surrounding countryside, the beach, and the sea. The kitchen is well equipped with an oven and hob, large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, and all the utensils required to cook up a storm! The living room has a large, comfy corner sofa, smart TV, and gas fire (designed to look like a log burner!) for cosy winter nights. There is a further seating/viewing area where the sofa bed is located and a telescope for night-time star gazing. the dining area has a table and chairs for 8 people and there is a separate study area for those who will need to check in with work. The living/dining areas have sliding doors out to the expansive balcony where there is an outside dining table plus chairs and fantastic views can be enjoyed. There is also a utility room with a washing machine, tumble dryer, and plenty of space for a dog bed and bowls!
Sleeping
There are 3 bedrooms on the lower floor. The master bedroom is extensive and enjoys French doors leading out to the terrace and garden, a double bed, tv and ample storage for clothes. The en-suite bathroom is the piece de resistance and includes a corner bath, a large walk-in shower, his and hers wash basins, and WC. Bedroom 2 has a double bed, tv, sliding doors to the terrace and garden, and an en-suite shower room. Bedroom 3 offers 2 single beds plus a further 'day bed' which is only suitable for a child and an en-suite shower room. In the living room, there is a double sofa bed for 2 guests.
Bathing
You are spoilt for choice with bathrooms at this property! Upstairs there is a shower room with wc - perfect for washing off after a long day at the beach and each bedroom has its own en-suite shower rooms. The master bedroom en-suite is truly spectacular, with marble tiling and a spa bath where long soaks can be enjoyed.
Outside
There is driveway parking for 3 vehicles at the front of the property. To the rear, there is a good-sized landscaped garden (children will need to be supervised at all times as there are some drops), a large terrace with a picnic bench, and a lovely balcony accessed via the living room with a table and chairs. A coal BBQ is provided, and bikes/surfboards can be stored securely in the garage.

PETS - One well-behaved pet is accepted at this property - £35 per week/short stay, must not be allowed on any furniture or in the bedrooms. Also please be aware that the garden does have some gaps in the bottom hedges so please ensure that your dogs are supervised when in the garden.

£60 non-refundable booking fee payable at time of booking.
50% of the accommodation cost and booking fee are required to secure the booking. The remaining balance & payment for any extras is due 8 weeks prior to arrival along with the refundable damages deposit (if applicable). If your dates are within 10 weeks, full payment is required.
Bed linen and hand/bath towels are provided.
Check-in time is from 4pm and the check-out time is 10am.

We found the property easily and great to have parking for 3 vehicles. The property was clean and well equipped. the bedrooms and bathrooms were very spacious. The views were superb, though we all said that it was a shame that the lounge furniture was not positioned to take full advantage of the views. The sofa was very uncomfortable and looked a bit tired and there wasn't much room if we all wanted to sit and watch the telly on a rainy afternoon - and there was only 5 of us! The other thing that was sadly lacking was anywhere to hang coats - when you holiday at the British seaside in October, you need several coats - we ended up using the dining room chairs to hang them all, and when they were wet, had to drape them in the bathrooms. The walk into Woolacombe was straighforward, though the walk back up challenging for the legs.
Fantastic views, all bedrooms were spacious and the house had all the amenities you could want. Lovely location within walking distance to the beach and shops. Will definitely return here!

Thank you so much for offering this property! It is absolutely wonderful with the most amazing view. We were all so sad to leave once it was time to check out. On arrival we were pleasantly surprised by all of the facilities including cleaning products, utensils, white goods… all were more than you would expect! The balcony area and seating was an added bonus for our family as the weather was lovely during our stay. The fact that each bedroom had its own bathroom was perfect for our family. It also has a bathroom by the front door which again is so handy for showering the dog to ensure they are clean before entering the property. The only comment we made was that the seating in the lounge (2 sofas) was quite limited for the amount of people this property offers to sleep. However this was no real issue for us as we had the lovely weather to utilise the balcony. We would 100% stay again and would recommend to anyone looking for accommodation in Woolacombe!
We love staying here. It has fabulous views and is really well maintained. It is close enough to walk to Woolacombe, but beats many other properties based on living space, en-suite bathrooms to all 3 bedrooms and a little garden. We have stayed here twice and will book again.
We have just returned from a wonderful week's holiday in Woolacombe. The upside down house was super, it had everything available. The views were amazing. Quite an uphill hike back from the beach but definitely worth it. The house was lovely and clean on arrival, just one small maintenance problem which was quickly rectified by Ocean Cottages. We would definitely recommend Ocean Cottages to anyone thinking of staying in the area.
Enjoyed a 2 week stay at the house which is superb. Equipped with everything you could ever need, very comfortable and beautiful views of the beach and Woolacombe bay.
We have just returned from a great holiday at 36 Chichester Park. Beautiful house with breathtaking, captivating views from every room. All bedrooms with ensuite .. what a bonus!!! Not to mention shower room upstairs on living area. House had everything we needed… did I mention the view . The steep garden was a no go area for us with a 20 month toddler, but to be honest we didn't miss outside space, beach was amazing all day every day and the house has a beautiful, safe, fully enclosed veranda . Steep hill back up from town/ beach. Hard work for us ( grandparents) with buggy and daughter in law 5 months pregnant. But once back at the house all is forgiven ✅.
The house was brilliant. Very comfortable and decently equipped. The position, of course, is spectacular! We preferred it to Atlantic House next door because the open plan lounge/kitchen was more to our taste and the garden was also better for the dog! Only niggle was the recycling/ waste collection which seemed to have different days to those stated in the instructions. Sorry if we didn't do it right! Thank you to the housekeepers, as it was spotless. We will be back!
We have visited Woolacombe for over 30 years and found a beautiful house through Ocean Cottages. The company always replied promptly and when I contacted the housekeeper on one occasion during the holiday she was brilliant. Only a question I needed answering but thank you Housekeeper Claire in Woolacombe !!! The property was as described and housed 6 adults very comfortable. The views of the beach were just fantastic and we were blessed with good weather at Easter. I would book again with Ocean Cottages. Thank you !
We had the most wonderful time here ! The views were stunning even in the rain. The bedrooms were so comfortable, also with views of the bay from 2 ! Bathrooms for each bedroom ! We have a spaniel he loved it too ! Enclosed garden ! With access to garden from bedrooms. We cannot wait to come again .

Stayed in this excellent house first week in September, and it is faultless. Brilliant location with fantastic views and the house itself is really nicely furnished and equipped, as well as being spotlessly clean. We think Woolacombe and the beach is unbeatable for families, surfers (and dog-walkers). We will be back !
