The area showcases fantastic routes for walkers' and cyclists' along the South West Coastal Path. But of course, the true primary
draw for visitors is the ocean and North Devon has maximised its potential by supporting a strong water-sports scene that includes
surfing, sailing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, kitebuggying, coasteering, paddle-boarding, and many more.
Whatever you need, Ocean Cottages have the ideal place for you. We offer a wide range of luxury holiday cottages

North Devon's regional centre is Barnstaple, where you'll find the main business, commercial, leisure, shopping venues and High street.
There's also plenty of interest to be found in the slightly smaller towns of Ilfracombe, Bideford, Torrington and South Molton which offer a quainter
historic feel. Those looking for a quieter time will love the beautiful coastal villages of Croyde, Woolacombe, Braunton, Saunton and Georgeham.
These are some of the most desirable places to visit, as they combine a cosy village feel with great beaches.
A visit to Lundy Island which is three and a half miles long and half a mile wide is well worth a visit! There are regular boat trips available from
Ilfracombe and Bideford. Lundy Island with its protected marine life, has restored buildings including a 13th century castle and there are no cars
on the island - exploration is by foot or bike! The peace and tranquillity of the island are magnets to those who wish to relax and get away from
the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Those who are a little more adventurous can climb, walk, canoe or dive! The island is renowned
for its puffins and dolphins are regularly seen on the trip across and around the island.
