Cosy cottage which was perfect for our winter break . Great location for outdoor walks and short drives to local towns and beaches. We love Georgeham and hope to be back soon.

Box Cottage is a traditional house nicely renovated with comfortable beds and a great family living area. It's in the middle of beautiful Georgeham which is no more than 2 miles from the coast and 2 minutes from a fabulous friendly pub, The Kings Arms. We would definitely book again!

A wonderful short weekend stay at Box Cottage. The cottage was extremely clean and comfortable with lovely beds. The welcome coffee and biscuits were very much appreciated. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again and recommend to others.

Even though Box Cottage is on the main thoroughfare through Georgham, it's so peaceful, quiet and tranquil. The cottage is very well- equipped and even has a washing machine. The shower has good pressure and towels/bedding are provided. The area inside is spacious with an airy feel. Great to take your dog too thought the stairs could do with carpeting. The little patio area is okay. Never got to use the hidden courtyard - didn't know it was there until I saw the cottage for sale! Parking is to the side of the house and, even though it's bot directly outside, it's fine. Had a problem with a window fixing on day 2 and the house keeper came immediately and fixes it. Perfect! Really close to my favourite beach too - Putsborough! A wonderful week was had by all.

Box cottage is really well presented and is a great place for a break, with everything you need inside for a comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable stay.

What a truly stunning cottage to spend Christmas in! So welcoming when we walked in, Christmas Tree with lights and the decorations beautifully done! Lots of elves dotted around the cottage and a lovely garland on the stairs. A lovely welcome basket full of goodies! As a cook I have to say, the kitchen was very well equipped. The bedrooms are very comfortable and so pretty. A really wonderful experience. Thank you so much!

We have really enjoyed our stay in Box Cottage. We love the area and Betsy the Bulldog loves all the beaches and doggy ice cream! Thank you for the little touches like coffee, fudge and tea upon arrival.

We enjoyed our stay in beautiful Box cottage. The cottage was well equipped and beautifully presented. It was very comfortable and warm. We were ideally placed to explore North Devon and the stunning village of Georgham, especially the restaurants, The Rock and Kings arms. Could not fault it. We really appreciated the emails from Ocean cottages keeping us updated on our arrival and departure. Thankyou so much

The cottage was spacious, clean and well equipped. In a lovely village within walking distance of Croyde and Putsborough Beach. Lovely walks around the area and a lovely village pub. Well worth a visit.

Beautiful cottage in a stunning village location with 3 great beaches on the doorstep. cottage has everything needed for home from home and was spotlessly clean. A fantastic pub at the end of the road. ..The Kings Head, serving fab food, live music and a great atmosphere. We have been to Georgeham for the past few years and love it every time.

Box Cottage is absolutely beautiful. We wanted a base near to my brother, who lives in Georgeham, and what a base! A real;y cosy home from home. Spotlessly clean. Contemporary but classic. We had a four night break and were perfectly situated for lovely beaches, walks with breath-taking views and fantastic country pubs. What more could you want? We will definitely be back. Thank you.

Loved the cottage, every room was tastefully decorated, our bed was extremely comfortable. Local pubs are only minutes away, more eateries, shops, beaches are only a short drive away

We had a wonderful stay in Box Cottage. The kitchen was well equipped and the house was very comfortable. Georgeham was the perfect spot for day trips to Putsborough and Croyde. Two local pubs were great too.

Beautifully presented cottage in the centre of Georgeham with the added benefit of off road parking! We had everything we needed for our stay and the cottage was scrupulously clean when we arrived. We specifically chose to stay in Georgeham because of the close proximity to Putsborough Beach, and the amenities in the village provide everything you would need. 2 great pubs with super food, and a basic but well stocked village store that has extended opening hours, making it very convenient. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is that for the size of cottage an under counter fridge containing (with small ice box) was a bit of a squeeze for a family of 4 with 2 teenage boys!

The cottage was very relaxing. We visited both the village pubs and had lovely meals. We really enjoyed the beach at Putsborough and the play area in Woolacombe. The cottage was loveyl and clean, the beds were extremely comfortable.

Very nice cottage, we stayed during the heatwave and the living area remained nice and cool! Very nice lounge and kitchen with modern feel in a traditional cottage setting. Upstairs equally as nice, very practical for our young family (toddler and a baby). Easy access to both croyde and putsborough, good parking (we have 4x4). Well equipped kitchen and outdoor eating space nice and calm.

If heaven was a place on earth it would probably be Costa Rica BUT a close second would be Box Cottage in Georgeham. Quite simply the best holiday ever. Sun, sea, sand and surf! Many Thanks!

We have had a lovely few days in Georgeham, we especially recommend The Kings Arms and Squires. We did a lovely bike ride on The Tarka Trail, we totally recommend it. A nice but long walk to Putsborough Sands but it was totally worth it. A cosy living room (to watch the final of Great British Bake off) Lovely accommodation - comfy beds & Sofas

We have had an absolutely fabulous few days at Box Cottage! This is such a great village and so near so many beautiful places. We surfed at Croyde & Putsborough, we walked at Baggy Point and we climbed on rocks and explored beaches. One day it was freezing and we had hats, gloves & scarves and the next it was like a summers day and we wore T'shirts in the sun all day! After a day outdoors it was perfect to return to your lovely cottage which is so warm, cosy & comfortable. We had delicious meals at The Kings Head and played card games in The Rock. Our children loved being here and we are so happy we came. Thank you

Thanks for a lovely weekend in your lovely cottage. Everything was brilliant - comfy beds, great facilities - and the surf, golf and local food was top notch. Nick even managed to beat me at golf!

My friend & I had THE BEST weekend here! What a beautiful house - so homely and cosy, there was everything we needed! We surfed at Putsborough which was AMAZING, had yummy breakfast at The Blue Groove in Croyde and the most amazing dinner at The Kings Arms round the corner. Would recommend it to all! We have had a fantastic week in Devon and Box Cottage has provided us with the perfect house. The weather has been extremely kind to us this week. This is our second wonderful stay at Box Cottage. It is a perfect cottage in a perfect location. We have loved being so close to the beach - good for an evening surf! Georgeham is lovely - Kings Arms is great for a nice pub meal and nice atmosphere. Putsborough Beach is lovely. Cottage is nice, beds are comfy. Beware, courtyard is not completely private. Overall not a bad base. The Moseleys

We have had a great holiday here at Box Cottage. Putsborough Beach was a hidden Gem especially for our 2 year old! The cottage was very handy and spacious especially when the weather was bad and will definitely recommend it to our friends and family. We have had a lovely time in Box Cottage. The beds were very comfy and Putsborough Beach was very cool. We loved staying here and we hope to come back soon. We a group of 6 (3 couples) have just got back from a long weekend in box cottage. It is well equipped with everything you could need, cosy and comfortable. In a great location short distance from Woolacombe, putsborough and croyde beaches. The local Shop had the essentials an the two pubs (walking distance) were lovely an the food is great! We had a lovely weekend an would definately look to go Back.

We stayed in Box Cottage in August with two young kids (5 & 7) as well as grandparents and had a fabulous time. We have been visiting North Devon for 7 years now and this was easily the best cottage we have stayed in for location and also quality. The beds were great and the large dining table in kitchen was great for dinner, games etc. It was so good we have already booked for next year.

Family of 6 had a great stay in Box cottage in Georgeham. Well equipped and nicely decorated, it had everything we needed. The two local pubs served great food and gave the kids a chance to top up their wifi. Putsborough beach ticks all the boxes, surf, rock pooling, cafe and lovely loos! This has been our 7th year in this lovely part of Devon.

Just spent a lovely few days catching up with friends in Devon. We stayed here at Box Cottage, as it was advertised as being well equipped and in a good location. It more than exceeded my expectations and was the perfect place to stay. The location was ideal for walks/beach activities etc and the village setting is idyllic. The cottage was more than well-equipped and was cosy with lovely period features. Its a good size - very homely with lovely big sofas to laze around on. The kitchen was a good size, with a big table for socialising around. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone thinking of spending some holiday time in this beautiful part of Devon - great value and lovely ambience!

We have been going to Croyde for the last few years but decided we wanted a quieter location so choose Box Cottage in Georgeham. The cottage was clean and well equipped and my Mum (85) managed the stairs easily. It was light and airy and very peaceful. We enjoyed the beautiful gardens in the village and the food at the Kings Arms was fab (do book though). We hope to book Box Cottage next year
