Cooking/Dining/Living
The triple aspect, open plan kitchen/living/dining room hosts the perfect setting for holidaying with family and friends. Through double French doors, the room opens onto a large, decked balcony (above the garage) offering a great space for outside entertaining and relaxing in the sunshine (outside furniture provided in this area). Bi-fold doors to a Juliette balcony can also be found off the living room which allows for plenty of Croyde sea air on the sunny summer days. Two sofas, cuddle chair, and smart TV are provided in the lounge area.
The kitchen space is beautifully designed and fitted with all the necessary appliances for a self-catered holiday (including a dishwasher, wine cooler, fridge/freezer, and induction hob). The top oven is a combination oven with a microwave setting. The dining area has seating for 6-8 guests.
The rear of the garage has been converted to a lovely garden/snug room with smart TV, sofa bed (for guests 7 & 8) and door leading out to the enclosed garden. Behind the first secure doorway to the property, you will find an external walkway which provides access to the front door and garden/snug room.
Sleeping
The bedrooms and bathrooms to the property are found on the ground floor. There is a beautifully appointed master bedroom with king size bed, built-in wardrobe and drawer storage. This bedroom also has an equally beautiful en-suite shower room.
The second bedroom is a twin room with zip and link beds which can be configured as a king size bed or twin beds (sleeps 2), and the third bedroom houses full-size bunk beds (suitable for adults).
The rear of the garage now hosts a lovely garden room featuring a smart TV and a sofa bed that sleeps up to 2 guests (7th & 8th guest will be in this room should the party exceed 6). Past the first secure doorway, there's an external walkway leading to the front door of the property. Right across from the front door is the entrance to the garden room, however, keep in mind that to reach the garden room from the main property, you'll need to take two steps across the courtyard and through the front door. An electric radiator is installed in this room to keep the area to ensure your comfort.
Bathing
The family bathroom has a shower over the bath, along with automatic underlighting for your convenience. There is also an en-suite bathroom in the Master bedroom.
Outside
The property has outdoor surfboard racks and a (warm) outside shower which is a real advantage to the whole family after a long and sandy day at the beach! Trasona has a large lawned garden at the rear of the property that also includes a decked area with outdoor table and chairs and a Boules court which is sure to provide some wonderful family games. A BBQ is also provided for your use as well as a hot tub (charges apply).
Access to the front part of the garage is available for guests use where you will find a small area for storage, along with a washing machine.
There is parking for 1 large car/2 small cars in front of the garage.

Additional Booking Information
£60 non-refundable booking fee payable at time of booking.
50% of the accommodation cost and booking fee are required to secure the booking. The remaining balance & payment for any extras is due 8 weeks prior to arrival along with the refundable damages deposit (if applicable). If your dates are within 10 weeks, full payment is required.
Check-in time is from 4pm and the check-out time is 10am.

Friendly and spacious house in a great location with a parking spot which is really rare in croyde! It's just a short walk into the little town or to the beach.
We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at Trasona. The house is great size for a family of 5. We particularly enjoyed the outside space and the addition of the hot tub. Ease of walking to the beach and the village was very welcome too. We would love to come back in the future.
First impressions was how spacious and clean the house was. The area was quiet and very family friendly. There were clear instructions from booking and everything was provided that we needed (cot bed & stair gate). We will definitely be looking again to book for next year.

4 mins walk to The Thatch, 8min walk down to Croyde beach. the location couldn't be better. the house is charming and very comfortable. Ideal for families. would highly recommend.
We had a lovely stay at Trasona in Croyde. This was our second stay, the house was spotless and a very easy house to be in for a week, it has everything you need for a holiday away with the family. It is big and spacious, the terrace and the garden are perfect for the hot days we had. We would definitely book through Ocean Cottages again.
We stayed here for a week in early May 2021 when the country was in the grip of a cold northerly airstream and lockdown was still in evidence. Despite all that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Croyde and the property was well fitted out and very comfortable for the three of us. Everything worked well and the development is very peaceful and away from any traffic. We are already planning a return trip!

We have just spent a week at Trasona and we're delighted with the property. Exceptionally well equipped throughout the house. Great kitchen and dining area. The location could t be better. A short walk to the beach and local amenities. Lovely garden for the dog. All good. Will definitely be going back.

Spotlessly clean, comfortable, beautiful. all the bits and bobs you need. Whats not to like? Loved the roof terrace - what a little sun trap. Boules in the garden was a treat too. Location great too (5min walk to the beach and village centre). Nice walk around to Saunton too (via coast or hill)

We had an amazing stay at Trasona this past weekend. On arrival we found scones, jam and clotted cream. The scones were some of the best I have had. Thank You. I was lucky enough to have won this stay and we really appreciated it. The house had everything we required and more with little touches like shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. It was perfect for walks to the beach and into Croyde village. The Thatch was a lovely pub and the coffee shop next to the post office was amazing. The cakes, breakfast pastries and coffee were lovely. I will be booking again.

We are coming to the end of a two week family holiday at Trasona in Croyde. The accommodation is ideally situated, five minutes walk to the centre of the village with its pubs and stores, and fifteen minutes to the beautiful Croyde beach. The house is very comfortable with all the amenities you would expect from a new home. The decor is tasteful and attractive. A special feature is the large balcony above the garage with furnishings and a bbq, perfect for a sunny evening. Recommended.
We had a lovely long weekend in Trasona. The house was so well equipped with lovely decor and can sleep 8 people and is dog friendly which is a great bonus. 5 minute walk to Croyde village and a bus ride away from Saunton Sands which we used mostly as it's a dog friendly beach. Also, thanks so much for the lovely extra touches (scones, jam and cream etc) which made our stay special.
A wonderful stylish house in an excellent position. Very convenient for walking to both the beach and the village. Very well equipped a nice garden for the kids. Highly recommended.
