What a lovely property, really well located for Croyde both for the beach and local pubs and village shops. We would thoroughly recommend.

This was a great last minute surprise find. Lovely location right in the middle of the village. Easy parking, easy walking. It's clean, warm, spacious. The.most obvious thing for us was that the photos don't do any justice to what it's really like inside. We liked it enough to return another time.

We have used ocean cottages many times before and always been happy , the properties are well kept and maintained , Always in a good location . We used seaward in croyde for the second time , and will be looking forward to going again

Central to village. Easy walking access - flat - near to pubs/ shop and footpath to beach. Spacious kitchen diner. Bathroom for each bedroom. Garden accessible from front for wet dog, beachwear etc. sturdy picnic bench. Relaxing garden chairs would be beneficial.

A lovely bungalow with everything that you will need whilst you are on holiday. Very clean and modern and so close to the amenities in lovely Croyde.

The property is in a great location and the street is lovely. The size of the property is good and great parking. Clean beds and kitchen. The property is quite rough round the edges though. Gaps in the flooring edges are grubby, behind doors and carpet edges aren't great especially when you have small children playing and hiding in every corner. The garden also needs more care to make the space pleasant to sit out or use the hot tub. There's also no hooks in the bathroom or behind doors for towels to dry which is an issue when there's 5 of you in the house. Small improvements would make this property excellent!

Stayed here with a friend and my sister and her husband and 4 year old nephew. Seaward was absolutely spotless when we arrived and everything works well. It was a great base during very changeable weather. The sofas in the sitting room are really comfortable and the TV had BBC iPlayer etc so we could watch cricket highlights! I really appreciated the tea and milk for the morning after we arrived lateish. I didn't need to contact the housekeeping team, but on the odd occasion I had a question, they were quick to respond and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

We have just returned from our Christmas stay at seaward. It is an overall fab property the cleanliness was impeccable and as neat freaks this is usually an issue for us whenever we stay anywhere but your housekeeping team deserve a medal it was so clean. The hot tub was lovely but if I could fault any thing in the property it would be the garden as it's almost impossible to take the lid off the hot tub without standing on the grass, and at this time of the year meant a very muddy area. Also maybe consider the garden lighting there was only one dull light that didn't cover all areas so we had to use a torch that we had in the car. These are very minor points we would definitely stay again and the whole process with ocean cottages was an absolute pleasure. You have definitely won our return custom we have been visiting croyde 3-4 times a year for 20 years and always booked with another company, after seeing some properties on our last visit we decided to try ocean and we were not disappointed we did.

The bungalow was clean and spacious. Just 5 minutes walk from the village and 15 minutes to the beach. Decent size bedrooms and a bonus of 3 bathrooms. The garden was private and safe for dogs. (Or children!)

Seaward is an excellent property in a great location - quiet, but within 2 mins of the village centre and a 15 min walk to the beach. The property has good facilities, but when we arrived there were a few issues with some of the equipment. Ocean Cottages were brilliant and responded to my email the same day and replacement equipment arrived that night - couldn't ask for better service.

Good location in Croyde, walkable to shops, pubs and beach. Nice property with good garden space and nice big rooms. Would go again.

Seaward was absolutely perfect for our week's for the six of us. It was as lovely as the photos on the website. It was clean, beautifully furnished and had everything we needed. To have three bathrooms for the three bedrooms made it ideal for three couples. It was so lovely to have the garden, with seating and bbq and the hot tub was an added luxury (although our week was so hot we didn't make full use of it!). It was lovely being in the centre of Croyde, two minutes walk, but the cul-de-sac was so quiet. Croyde beach was easily walkable and our favourite beach, Putsborough, only a 20 minute walk or a 5 minute drive. We loved it and would definitely return!

Seaward is an excellent rental property, either for families or for three couples sharing. The house is well-equipped, extremely close to the centre of Croyde and it is an easy walk to the beach. The garden was a lovely setting for enjoying the hot tub and plenty of barbecues. Everything was scrupulously clean and well organised on arrival. A small problem with one of the showers was sorted out very promptly by the Ocean Cottages team. Stayed for two weeks June-July and would happily return.

Veyr clean and well equipped property. Nicely furnished and well laid out. Well situated for pub, shops and short walk to beach. Garden is pleasant and dog friendly. We wouldn't hestitate to return

Apart from the plughole that didn't work!

Stayed for a week with the family in early August. Excellent location in the centre of Croyde within walking distance of the shops & restaurants (2 minutes) and the beach (10-15 minutes). Property is very well laid out with 3 full-size bedrooms and 3x bathrooms. Kitchen diner well presented with excellent storage (2x fridges and 1x freezer) and all the cooking utensils you could need! utility has the 2nd fridge and washer / dryer. Garden includes outdoor seating and plenty of space to dry wetsuits after a day at the beach. plus a hot tub to relax in. Easy drive to both Saunton Sands and Putsborough Sands for a change of beach and surf scenery. You can even walk the 3 miles up the beach from Putsborough to Woolacombe. Further afield Woolacombe and Ilfracombe are easily reachable by car in less than 30 mins. with lots more to explore within an hours drive. Great service from the housekeeping team (Claire) throughout the week if we had any questions. We are already looking at our next trip to the N Devon coast and will definitely book with Ocean Cottages again.

Everything was great - lovely modern decor and spacious rooms. Garden enclosed and safe for our puppy and hot tub great to come back to after a day in the beach. Some criticisms and areas of improvement are that the electric shower in the rear en-suite bedroom, provided a pretty weak flow of water. It was not a power shower and this was the cause of the weak flow. Also the kitchen lacked sufficient oven dishes / baking dishes which are needed for general cooking. However all in all we had a very lovely stay here!Yes

A lovely little warm house in an excellent location. Comfy sofas and beds and decent sized towels which makes a nice change. The whole house and garden are 100% dog friendly. As is the whole village ... we had a lovely weekend!.. only slight snag is the kitchen needs baking trays and a coffee machine.

Exactly what we had hoped for and then some! My 13 year old went in the hot tub every day and it was a perfect garden for the dogs. We stayed Christmas week and found it was equipped with everything we could possibly need. There was a lovely Christmas tree in the spacious lounge. We even had a pile of Christmas crackers, a luxury chocolate yule log, a box of luxury mini mince pies, a pint of milk in the fridge and a box of chocolates to boot!!! Very welcoming and would not hesitate to book again. I've been holidaying in Croyde for 45 years on and off and there's no place I'd rather be. 

The cottage is also on a quiet cul-de-sac just a few minutes away from the main shops and pubs.

Lovely Bungalow very comfortable ideal base for good beaches and lovely waves, good time had by all.

We enjoyed our stay in this well-equipped bungalow with its pleasant garden.  We enjoyed visits to Ilfracombe and ten-pin bowling at the EX34 sports complex at Woolacombe.

Myself, my husband, our daughter and son in law plus our two young grandchildren loved Seaward! It is very spacious and in a very quiet street (no traffic noise). A few minutes stroll to pubs and shops - perfect! The facilities are excellent. 3 bathrooms! We would love to return to Seaward soon and hopefully when we do the creaky bed in the garage conversion will have been dealt with (minor gripe). Thank you Ocean Cottages for handling our stay so well.

This is a really well equipped house in the centre of Croyde village. The beach is 15 minutes walk but mostly down a path and well away from traffic. Pubs and shops pretty much at the end of the road so v handy. House itself is nice with good sized kitchen and three big bedrooms. Small garden at the back gives some outside space.

A perfect place for grandparents, parents and children. We love the changes to the decor since our last visit. My daughter loved the pictures above our beds so much, she has asked for them for her 12th birthday! Perfectly equipped house, thank you for the tea, coffee, milk and cake, a fantastic surprise gift after our long drive. We recommend Watermouth Castle (our fourth visit) fun for all the family! Surf school at Saunton was great for the girls aged 6 and 11. On a cold wet day (when unfortunately we have had many) surfing at Woolacombe is great as you can change at the car and not have a long walk. Off to the manor tonight, we always visit when in Croyde. Thank you.

Another great stay, lovely clean house. We came the first time for a 70th. We love it so much here in North Devon.

This was our second time at Seaward and it really felt like home. Even though we weren't too lucky with the great British weather this year, we had a fabulous holiday thanks to the comfort of this holiday home and I would highly recommend it to families with young children - superb!

Had a lovely time in a great cottage and great location. Croyde beach nice and Putsborough beach great although narrow road to get there. Recommend cycling on the Tarka Trail. Lots of nice walks. Great time Fox family

A fantastic holiday has been had by all! Made use of all the local beaches which are very hard to beat. There is something for everyone from surfing to sandcastles. I stayed here whilst working in the local area it is a great alternative to a hotel. So much space that my parents gatecrashed with me for a weekend. Great national trust café on the way to Baggy Point. Easy bus rides to Barnstaple, Exmoor and Woolacombe. Lovely stay and I would come again.

Two glorious weeks of Croyde sunshine in a very well equipped bungalow. Close to all amenities and places to visit. Fitted all six of us perfectly and very well serviced.

Fantastic week with the weather, couldn’t have asked for better. Lovely house in a perfect location and we used the beaches at Croyde, Saunton and Woolacombe – which were easy to get to. We had a lovely time. We are regular visitors to Croyde. The bungalow was in a great location and has all of the equipment that you would need. It is contemporary, clean and spacious. Arlington Court is great and we have had a couple of great meals at 'The Thatch'.

The garden is a perfect place for gymnastics and hide and seek. Brilliant for easter egg hunts. The beds are so comfy and the house provides a superb space- very clean. It's close to the beach with a big kitchen for big dinners and it is very warm. Thank you Ocean Cottages for the bunnies!

Excellent pre--holiday communication with everything organised well. Arrived at the property to find it absolutely spotless and everthing virtually brand spanking new. All rooms very spacious light and airy. Kitchen very modern and well equipped. Nice large utility room with plenty of room to put beach stuff in. Outside a nice large lock-up with room to put a few bikes in and body boards. Clothes airer in garden for hanging wetsuits/washing on- but also washer/dryer in utuility room if required. Bedrooms all with very comfortable beds. Having three bathrooms was a godsend with having teenage children (and their friends) ! Also freeview and wi-fi essential for them too. I can't believe what a fantastic location this bungalow is in. It is just off the main street and yet it was so quiet. The daily ritual walk to the beach was made via the public footpath next to the pub and took about 15 mins. But it is all flat on stoned access track and very pleasant. The local bakers provided lovely fresh bread/pasties and croissants. However there is large tescos in Braunton if a big shop is required.
