Wonderful cottage, tastefully decorated and well equipped. The garden is a beautiful haven for humans and nature alike. Ideally positioned for all local shops and pubs with easy access to beach (15mins on well maintained path). Staff at Ocean Cottages couldn't have been more helpful. Thank you

Crydda cottage is comfortable and beautifully presented. Everything was spotlessly clean and the kitchen is very well equipped. There is a lovely garden with patio furniture backing onto a hillside giving the impression of being somewhere much more rural. Situated in the middle of this lovely coastal village, the shops, pubs and restaurants are an easy walk away and within 20 minutes you are on the beach. We would thoroughly recommend this holiday cottage.

We absolutely loved our stay at this absolutely beautiful cottage nestled behind a lovely church. It's close enough to all of the local shops and pubs, but not so close to suffer from too much noise. We stayed here just as a couple but you could easily fit a family in here as there is ample room indoors and the outdoor space is also big enough for family bbqs etc. Really can't find any fault with this place, absolutely stunning.

A lovely cottage in a quiet setting but within easy distance of the beaches. Great for a family get together. Lovely garden and great for the dog too. Only downside was that there was no hot water when we arrived but this was rectified the following morning.

Thank you Ocean Cottages for stepping in at the last minute when Choice Cottages cancelled our booking. Crydda Cottage was lovely. From when opened the door where we found tea, coffee, milk and cake waiting for us after a long journey to the gas barbecue and excellent accommodation. Everything worked, location couldn't have been better, lovely garden even the weather was good. Thank you. If we had to be critical of anything it would be sofas in the lounge which were uncomfortable and clearly passed their best. Saying that we would have no hesitation of booking Crydda Cottage again through Ocean Cottages.

The cottage has everything you need, is extremely comfortable and the location is fantastic for walking to the local pubs, restaurants and the beach. We all enjoyed meals at the Manor, Beachside Grill in Saunton and Cream teas at Mays Tea Rooms. All member of our party, aged from 4 - 70, had a fabulous stay at Crydda Cottage and we will hopefully be back again soon!

we loved staying at Crydda Cottage. It is so well equipped and comfortably furnished. Lovely, light master bedroom with a great shower in the ensuite too and access to the garden. All the teenagers could escape to their bedrooms if they wanted or play games in the dining room whilst others watched TV or read in the lounge. Very well located too, close to everything in Croyde. We had a great week and hope to return soon

Property is well equipped and comfortable with some nice touches on our arrival (Cake, Christmas tree etc). Had a fab time and I am sure we will be back! Thank you.

Thanks for a lovely week at Crydda Cottage. This holiday home is so comfortable, spacious and well equipped. It has been a great home for our Christmas break. Thank you so much for preparing the house for our arrival. Milk, tea and even a Yule log waiting for us! We hope to return before long. Message from the children: We all had our own bedroom which was good and the light up mirror was great for make-up. The dog liked trying to eat the bin too!we had lots of fun debates who was to do the washing up but it was a good Xmas getaway. The bunk beds were a bit of a squeeze even to the shortest member of the family though. Lovely visit and a great pool game at the pub!

Another lovely holiday at Croyde we love being here! Weather not great but we always find plenty to do. Love the restaurants, always go back a lot fatter than when we came, cant wait to visit again next year.

Beautifully decorated cottage. Lovely wooden floors, clean pretty garden. My son loved the bubble bath (doesn’t normally like baths). Daughter loved double bed in 2nd bedroom. Love Croyde, short walk to shops, restaurants and beach. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We have had a lovely week in this cottage, which is very comfortable and has everything we needed. The garden was great for the children to play in and our little ones loved the ball!

Excellent Week with family even though weather not brilliant. Lots of visits to the beach and walks along coast which the dogs enjoyed too. Pubs and shops very close and friendly.

Great stay in Croyde at the lovely Crydda Cottage. It's been the perfect base to explore this beautiful part of Devon. We've had a fantastic time & had a lovely BBQ on the deck. For anyone else visiting we highly recommend that you check out the deck chair cinema, the local farmers market (Tues), Craft Market and of course give surfing a go on Croyde Beach (Thanks to Lyndon Wake surf school for getting us on our feet!) A walk to Baggy point is also a good way to spend a few hours & get some great views of the bay. One last thing- you can't beat The Thatch! Thanks Andrew & Winter Families!

We come for our sons wedding - a remarkable week in a lovely cottage and beautiful location- leaving for London today- the day the county has taken a drive into the unknown!

We had a wonderful time! The beds were very comfortable and the covers were extremely silky. It was great to be so close to the beach!

We have been to Croyde a few times and we love the village, beaches and area already. Crydda Cottage is right in the heart of the village but set back from the main road so is very quiet. All the village shops and pubs are a couple of minutes walk away which is great and the beach is also very close and is beautiful. The cottage itself is lovely, we stayed in October and the log burner was brilliant and made for cosy evenings in. It is well decorated and a pleasure to stay. Bedrooms are beautiful and very comfortable. Kitchen is very well equipped and it was lovely that washing up cloths, tea towels, washing up liquid and other basics were provided. Loved it and would definitely recommend and go again.

We had a fab time, we loved the cottage really cosy. The children loved playing on the decking. We will be back again.

Stayed at Crydda for the New Year with family and friends and had an amazing time. The cottage is cosy and perfect for a winter getaway. Great living room with a wood burner, the kitchen had all the equipment you would need and a wonderful heated floor. The cottage is tastefully decorated with attention to detail. Although it was a winter stay the garden was a good size and would be perfect for summer. The cottage is only a minute walk away from the Manor pub and 5-10 to the Thatch and Billy Buds. The only slight negative is that the shower in the ensuite and downstairs was pretty small, manageable but none of us were particularly big. Would definitely book again.

Thank you we did have an enjoyable stay at Crydda Cottage in Croyde. The cottage was well appointed and comfortable and we had everything we needed. Croyde was extremely busy at the time of our visit and it was nice to be tucked away in a quiet spot. We will certainly consider Ocean Cottages for future holiday accommodation

We have twice stayed at Crydda cottage and would highly recommend it. We are three generations - ourselves, sons and their wives and grandchildren and we had a great time. The weather was amazing and the facilities at the cottage were brilliant. Matilda (our housekeeper) was most helpful with the couple of queries we had and resolved them quickly. We would happily stay here again.

All of the Greenways stay was great fun and also very nice. Mummy and daddy also had great fun. Ben XOXO

Crydda cottage is furnished and decorated to a very high quality. The beds were deliciously comfortable (of some importance when you're over 50) and the rooms were light and pretty. The bedrooms were not huge and if we had one criticism it was that the two shower rooms were decidedly cramped - if you're a man over six feet tall with shoulders more than two feet wide you're going to be squeezing to get in and out of the shower. But on the plus side the master bedroom was spacious and had doors out onto a very private sun-terrace, where we spent a lot of time. The garden was well-planted and gorgeous, and we ate outside most nights. We went with four teenagers - the cottage was big enough for them to occupy themselves in teenagery ways without getting under one another's feet. It was walking distance to pubs shops and restaurants, there was riding, quad-biking and golfing nearby. I would certainly stay there again.
